My experience
FACE TO FACE
An experienced, accredited NLP psychotherapist (UKCP)
I have considerable experience working with individual face-to-face clients in private practice, higher education, the NHS and in industry.
I have trained in
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Neuro linguistic programming (NLP)
- Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

These combined skills, coupled with the experience of working with hundreds of different individuals and a vast range of topics, have allowed me to generate a method of therapy that tends to focus on solutions rather than dwelling on your problems.
ONLINE
An experienced online therapist (Dip Online counselling)
I have worked as an online therapist since 1998 when I provided online therapy to UK residents whilst living and working in the USA. Since then I have worked in a university setting and in private practice, providing online therapy, via email exchange to individuals, who, for various reasons, would prefer to communicate online.
Online therapy is a specialised skill and I strongly believe that counsellors providing online therapy need to I have undertaken specialist training in how to provide online support.
Over the last 5 years I have taken specialist training and qualification specifically in online counselling so that I can provide the right level of professional support in this area of work.
I also have annual continuing professional development in online counselling and am a member of OCTIA.
I have also written and published articles and a book on how other counsellors wishing to, or already working online, can improve their skills.
